Strategy & Planning Lead

About the role

We are looking for a Strategy & Planning Lead to join the Portfolio Enablement team on an 8‑month fixed‑term contract. Reporting to the Head of Portfolio Enablement, you will shape the business unit’s strategic agenda, drive key initiatives and ensure consistent execution across product development, regional expansion and corporate solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver activities aligned with the business unit’s strategic agenda.
• Establish and support functional teams in creating and executing the Strategy Roadmap with global alignment.
• Lead the production of strategic and executive reporting packs, translating complex data into clear, actionable narratives.
• Manage controlled implementation of new regional expansions and office openings, coordinating inter‑dependencies.
• Monitor industry developments to maintain high‑standard division practices.
• Provide regular engagement and communication with key stakeholders.
• Assist in preparing and implementing team plans in line with broader business strategy.
• Identify high‑risk areas, define key risk indicators and coordinate business continuity plans.

Required profile

• Experience in a similar strategy role within a corporate environment.
• Working knowledge of insurance or financial services is an advantage.
• Strong presentation and storytelling abilities for all organisational levels.
• Ability to work independently and support other strategy analysts as needed.
• Tertiary degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
