Strategic Site Partner, Oncology

About the role

The Strategic Site Partner (SSP) will act as the primary liaison between AbbVie and key oncology investigative sites, overseeing partnership across multiple studies to accelerate trial delivery and remove operational barriers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute site‑specific engagement strategies for assigned sites.
• Provide white‑glove relationship management with investigators, site leadership and staff, both on‑site and remotely.
• Identify and implement efficiencies to accelerate clinical trial execution and ensure consistency across studies.
• Monitor site performance metrics, address KPIs, and resolve complex operational issues.
• Communicate study forecasts, capacity, and strategic resource planning with sites and internal stakeholders.
• Escalate risks, drive cross‑functional collaboration, and ensure alignment of AbbVie and site operations.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in clinical research with demonstrated leadership and strategic planning.
• Strong understanding of global pharma/biotech drug development processes.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills across matrixed organizations.
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi‑study partnerships and drive results.
