Strategic Influencer Marketing Account Manager – 12‑Month Contract

About the role

Hoozu, a specialist influencer‑marketing agency, is seeking a Strategic Influencer Marketing Account Manager on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract to cover a parental‑leave absence. You will take ownership of a high‑profile, retained account for one of Australia’s most iconic retail brands, driving end‑to‑end influencer strategy and delivering measurable results from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Own and grow the relationship with the flagship client, acting as their primary strategic partner.
• Design, execute and optimise end‑to‑end influencer campaigns that align with the client’s business goals.
• Manage a diverse network of creators, negotiate partnerships and oversee long‑term collaborations.
• Juggle multiple always‑on campaigns, preparing quotes, scoping programmes and managing budgets.
• Lead talent identification, negotiations and partnership agreements to maximise impact and cost efficiency.
• Oversee campaign measurement, reporting and optimisation using data‑driven insights.
• Identify upsell and scope‑expansion opportunities across retained accounts.
• Contribute to new‑client pitches and agency growth initiatives.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in influencer marketing with a proven record of high‑performing campaigns.
• Strong analytical mindset; able to translate performance data into actionable optimisation.
• Deep knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and the broader creator ecosystem in Australia and New Zealand.
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills across talent, agencies and internal teams.
• Confident communicator, comfortable managing senior clients and presenting insights.
