Strategic Communications Specialist

About the role

Sodali & Co is seeking an experienced Strategic Communications Specialist to join its Perth team. The role can be filled on a permanent basis or as a 12‑month maternity‑leave cover, working in a hybrid model. You will support a diverse portfolio of global clients, delivering high‑impact communications across investor relations, M&A, crisis management and stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of client projects and accounts within the strategic communications team.
• Deliver integrated communications for investor relations, M&A, crisis situations, corporate messaging and stakeholder engagement.
• Collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams and gain exposure to other firm areas.
• Represent clients professionally in stakeholder, media and investor interactions.
• Draft communication collateral such as IR strategies, investor presentations, ASX announcements, fact sheets, key messages and Q&As.
• Provide research support and coordinate market‑intelligence reports.
• Develop and maintain efficient account‑management processes.
• Identify business‑development opportunities and contribute to growth.
• Foster an inclusive, collegial team culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce, marketing, communications or a related field.
• Proven experience in capital‑markets‑facing client relationship management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong analytical skills to identify market opportunities.
• Results‑oriented, proactive self‑starter capable of autonomous work.
• Effective time‑management and task‑prioritisation skills.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
