Stores Attendant - Brisbane Airport Lounge

About the role

Compass Group Australia's Airline Lounge business provides specialist services to travellers across the lounge industry, with fresh and delicious food alongside lower-carbon menu options. It is hiring a Stores Attendant at Brisbane Airport who will keep the store areas clean, organised and compliant, manage incoming goods and support kitchen operations. The position is full time and requires availability across a 7-day rotating roster.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain store areas by keeping dry goods, cold stores and delivery zones clean, organised and compliant
• Manage incoming goods through accurate receiving, quality checks and temperature monitoring
• Coordinate stock storage so items are labelled, rotated and stored safely
• Restock during peak service periods to support kitchen operations
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies to the leadership team
• Assist with waste control by sorting, compacting and removing waste safely
• Follow safety procedures to uphold food safety, people safety and airport compliance standards

Required profile

• Physically fit, able to handle manual handling and fast-paced operational tasks
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards
• Reliable and punctual, meeting rostered times in a secure airport environment
• Safety-focused, adhering to food safety, equipment safety and airport compliance
• Team-oriented attitude
• Valid RSA required to handle alcohol restock within the lounge
