Storeperson with Forklift - Morning Shift

About the role

An Australian-owned supplier of automotive and heavy-duty air-conditioning parts, serving customers nationwide for over 50 years, is looking to add a Storeperson to its team. The role is varied and hands-on, covering the efficient movement of stock through the warehouse so that orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately while keeping the workplace safe and organised. It is a morning shift, Monday to Friday, with a temp-to-perm opportunity.

Key responsibilities

• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch
• Receive, inspect and process incoming stock
• Load and unload deliveries using a forklift
• Put stock away accurately and replenish warehouse locations
• Assist with stocktakes and inventory control
• Maintain warehouse organisation and housekeeping standards
• Ensure orders are completed accurately and on time
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures
• Work with the warehouse and operations team to meet daily targets

Required profile

• Ideally previous experience in a warehouse or storeperson role
• Current LF Forklift Licence and experience operating forklifts safely and confidently
• Strong attention to detail, good organisational and time management skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive attitude and reliability
• Physically fit and able to handle manual handling tasks
• Experience with warehouse management systems or RF scanners is advantageous
