Storeperson – Parts Department

About the role

Construction Equipment Australia (CEA) is looking for a hands-on, organised Storeperson to join its Parts team at Horningsea Park. The role works closely with the Parts, Service and Workshop teams so that technicians have the parts they need, new machine builds keep moving, attachments are managed properly and the branch runs smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and stage parts for field and workshop technicians
• Pick, pack, receive and put away parts and stock
• Support attachment management, including monitoring stock levels and assisting with stock control
• Assist with receiving parts for new machine builds so builds are not delayed
• Help coordinate parts and equipment moving through the branch
• Assist with general yard duties and help keep the warehouse, parts areas and yard safe, tidy and efficient
• Maintain accurate stock locations and help with stocktakes and inventory checks
• Liaise with the Parts and Service teams to prioritise urgent requirements
• Jump in to assist the wider branch team when needed

Required profile

• Ideally previous storeperson, warehouse, parts or inventory experience
• Good organisation and time management, strong attention to detail and a practical, hands-on approach
• Ability to work independently while remaining part of a team
• A strong commitment to safety
• An interest in machinery, automotive, parts or mechanical environments is an advantage

Required skills

• Basic computer skills and confidence with inventory or parts systems
• A current driver's licence
• A forklift licence or previous forklift experience is highly regarded
