Storeperson - Bathroom and Kitchen Team

About the role
The Clennett's Mitre 10 store in Kingston is looking for a reliable and energetic Storeperson to join its bathroom and kitchen team and provide support and mentorship to a team member. This is a full-time role of 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a 6:30am start and early finish.
Key responsibilities
- Picking and packing orders for next-day delivery
- Receiving and putting away stock, and replenishing stock so the store stays presentable
- Scheduling delivery runs and planning upcoming deliveries
- Coordinating drivers so everything runs smoothly
- Receiving incoming goods, processing invoices and organising credits
- Mentoring a team member
- Keeping safety and customer service at the forefront of every day
Required profile
- Current forklift licence and manual car licence
- Strong PC skills
- Strong work ethic, can-do attitude and great communication skills
- A sharp eye for detail and a sense of urgency
- Kitchen and plumbing knowledge is handy; previous supervisory experience is desirable
