Store Manager - Mitre 10 Hobart

About the role

Mitre 10 is looking for a hands-on Store Manager to lead its Clennett's Mitre 10 Hobart store. You will build a strong team, deliver great customer service and drive store performance, coaching staff, overseeing operations and inventory and helping grow customer awareness in the local community. The store is open seven days a week, with a flexible 38-hour roster between 7:30am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday, plus occasional weekend coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team across retail and trade operations
• Build a positive culture centred on customer service and accountability
• Drive sales and identify opportunities to increase local store traffic
• Manage store performance, including profit and loss, wages and costs
• Oversee inventory, stock availability and overall store presentation
• Maintain safe, efficient operations across the store and drive-through trade area

Required profile

• Retail leadership experience as a Store Manager, Assistant Manager or 2IC
• Strong people leadership skills and confidence developing a diverse team
• Genuine passion for customer service and building community relationships
• Commercial experience across sales, inventory and financial performance
• Experience in hardware, trade or home improvement retail is advantageous
