Store Manager in Training – Pitt Street Flagship

About the role

At Bailey Nelson we’re on a mission to change how people see the world and how the world sees them. As a Store Manager in Training at our Pitt Street flagship you’ll help lead a passionate team, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and prepare to run your own store within 6‑12 months.

Key responsibilities

• Support store operations, including running the store two days a week.
• Assist the Store Manager and Optometrist in driving performance and meeting KPIs.
• Own the customer journey, ensuring every interaction is exceptional.

Required profile

• Proven retail, hospitality or optical leadership experience at a supervisor or manager level.
• Values‑driven, down‑to‑earth attitude that aligns with Bailey Nelson’s culture.
• Strong commercial acumen and a track record of exceeding sales budgets and KPIs.
• Passion for delivering world‑class optical customer service.
• Natural leadership, able to manage rosters, daily operations and coach team members.
• Aspiring store manager ready to step into a full manager role within 6‑12 months.
• Available to work full‑time (38 hours) on a Sunday‑Thursday roster.
