About the role
The Maker Designer Kitchens division of the ABN Group, Australia's leading construction company, is looking for a skilled Stonemason to join its team in Perth. The company has over 150 staff and describes itself as highly organised and supportive.
Key responsibilities
- Cut, polish and finish stone benchtops
- Mitre fabrication and assembly
- Glue and prepare stone components
- Operate CNC machinery and polishing equipment
- Read and interpret drawings
- Quality check finished products
- Work safely in a team-focused environment
Required profile
- Experience with stone, cabinetry, manufacturing, construction or related trades
- Pride in high-quality work and strong attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, self-motivated and able to work in a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Current driver's licence preferred
Required skills
- Stone fabrication and polishing
- Mitred edge construction
- Natural stone, porcelain or engineered stone processing
- CNC machinery operation
- Forklift licence desirable
- Installation experience desirable
