Stock Assistant – Luxury Retail

About the role

The Hermès Chatswood Chase Boutique is opening a new store and seeks a Stock Assistant to support the overall client experience. Working in a fast‑paced luxury environment, you will ensure stock is accurately managed, enabling the sales team to deliver exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain an accurate and organised store inventory, including packing and unpacking merchandise.
• Manage all incoming and outgoing stock transfers, validate stock in MSA and CEGID, and ensure correct price tagging.
• Assist with store cycle counts, bi‑annual inventories and reconciliation under the direction of the Store Director or Operations Manager.
• Process incoming and outgoing shipments promptly, label products, and ensure security tagging.
• Support the sales floor by retrieving products, replenishing stock, and handling phone requests from other boutiques.
• Monitor CEGID alerts, report irregularities, and perform internal control tasks.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented with strong organisational abilities to keep the back‑of‑house tidy and compliant with group procedures.
• Ability to work collaboratively with sales and warehouse teams in a high‑traffic retail setting.
• Proactive in identifying and correcting negative stock or discrepancies.

Required skills

• Experience with the MSA inventory system.
• Proficiency in CEGID stock management software.
