Stibo STEP Developer - MDM

About the role

A large, established Australian organisation has implemented Stibo STEP as its Master Data Management (MDM) platform and is looking for a hands-on Stibo STEP Developer to enhance, support and optimise it. Reporting to the MDM Lead, you will work with a complex product data landscape of around 700,000 products, with a hybrid arrangement of about 2-3 days in the office in Sydney.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, configure, enhance and support the Stibo STEP MDM platform
• Build and maintain business rules, workflows, validations and integrations using JavaScript and Stibo STEP development tools
• Troubleshoot data integration issues, system errors and interface failures, including with Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Manage bulk data uploads, transformations, cleansing and validation
• Resolve incidents, service requests and technical issues to keep the platform stable
• Coordinate technical changes and enhancements with offshore development partners
• Translate business stakeholder requirements into practical MDM solutions and identify ways to improve data quality and performance
• Support change management, testing, documentation and releases

Required profile

• Hands-on experience with Stibo STEP MDM, including configuration, development or platform support
• Experience with MDM platforms and complex product or reference data
• Experience with enterprise system integrations, APIs and data interfaces
• Experience collaborating with offshore development or support teams
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills

Required skills

• JavaScript, especially for business rules, workflows and custom functionality
• SQL, Excel and bulk data processing
• Familiarity with IT service management tools such as ServiceNow and JIRA
• Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 or large product information management environments is highly regarded
