State Pallet Controller

About the role

Metcash is seeking a detail‑oriented State Pallet Controller to manage pallet operations across the assigned state. You will act as the subject‑matter expert for pallet processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance and continuous improvement within the National Pallet Control Team.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure accurate pallet transactions and resolve any discrepancies.
• Monitor compliance with national pallet management standards.
• Conduct audits, stocktakes and process reviews to maintain data integrity.
• Train and support teams on pallet control procedures.
• Analyse data to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with operations teams and trading partners to drive efficiency.

Required profile

• Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency in pallet control systems and reporting tools.
• Analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in supply chain, logistics or equipment control (pallet management experience is a plus).
