Sponsorships Coordinator

About the role

Harvey Norman, Australia's largest retailer of lifestyle products with nearly 300 stores worldwide, is looking for a Sponsorships Coordinator based in Homebush West. The Sponsorship team develops and maintains corporate partnerships and corporate philanthropy in the Australian market, covering sports such as the NRL, NRLW, AFL, AFLW, Sydney Kings and Flames, Rugby Australia, Paralympics Australia and What Ability. As Sponsorships Coordinator you will support the General Manager and the Sponsorship team in the day-to-day running of the department.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the diary, sponsorship calendar and events schedule
• Manage partnership assets, WIPs and deliverables so they are executed smoothly and on time
• Develop creative, innovative partnership solutions with strong commercial outcomes
• Respond to donation requests by email and phone
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Coordinate sponsorship assets, signage and merchandise logistics
• Represent and activate at sponsorship events, including offsite events that may require travel, weekends and late nights
• Handle general administration such as filing, research, travel bookings, reporting, invoice and expense reconciliation

Required profile

• Experience in sponsorship, partnerships marketing, events or a related field
• Passion for sport and purpose-driven outcomes
• Clear communicator who interacts confidently at all levels of the business
• Positive can-do attitude and ability to work independently and proactively
• Ability to prioritise conflicting tasks and meet deadlines
• Willingness to travel and attend events, including late nights and weekends
• Access to reliable transport; right to work in Australia

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong administration skills and excellent phone manner
• Time management and stakeholder relationship building
