Speech Pathologist - Grade 3 (At Home Subacute)

About the role

Bayside Health is recruiting a Senior Speech Pathologist (Grade 3) for its At Home Subacute service at the Golf Links Road Rehabilitation Centre in Frankston. The position is limited term and part time, 32 hours per fortnight until January 2028. You will provide evidence-based care to patients in the home and community setting, working with a multidisciplinary team across rehabilitation, geriatric evaluation and management and palliative care.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver care through home visits, clinic appointments, group therapy and telehealth consultations
• Support patients to achieve meaningful outcomes, maximise independence and improve wellbeing
• Work closely with the Allied Health Lead to support care pathways
• Provide clinical supervision and mentoring, and contribute to workforce planning
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the service

Required profile

• Eligible for practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia
• Demonstrated ability to lead clinically and operationally in a multidisciplinary team
• Experience supervising speech pathology staff and students
• Commitment to continuous improvement, innovation and evidence-based practice
• Current driver's licence
