Speech Pathologist – Flexible Full‑time/Part‑time

About the role

The Cerebral Palsy Alliance (CPA) Dubbo site seeks a Speech Pathologist to join a multidisciplinary team delivering specialist services to children and families. The role combines on‑site clinic work with community‑based appointments across Dubbo and the wider Orana region.

Key responsibilities

• Provide assessment, treatment and support to a paediatric caseload (0‑18 years), with ~75% of clients living with cerebral palsy or similar conditions.
• Deliver services on‑site at the Gipp Street centre and off‑site in homes, schools or community settings, including telepractice sessions.
• Collaborate with occupational therapists, physiotherapists and other specialists to develop and implement multidisciplinary care plans.
• Mentor and supervise new graduates or students, if desired.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in Speech Pathology.
• Current SPA registration or willingness to obtain it.
• Valid driver’s licence for regional travel.
• Commitment to CPA’s inclusive culture and safety standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AAC technologies (e.g., Tobi eye‑gaze camera, Accent 800).
• Experience delivering telepractice services.
• Ability to use specialised equipment such as ceiling hoists and eye‑gaze devices.
