Specialist Recruitment Consultant - ADF

About the role

Adecco is recruiting a Specialist Recruitment Consultant in Melbourne to source and engage passive, professional, trade and technical candidates for the Australian Defence Force (ADF). Working closely with a Team Leader, you will run targeted sourcing initiatives for challenging positions, using data insights and innovative channels to build a strong pipeline of qualified candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Build deep knowledge of ADF roles to match candidates' skills and deliver an excellent candidate and client experience.
• Sourcing and engaging passive candidates across technical, trades and professional disciplines, building specialist talent pools for Navy, Army and Air Force.
• Plan and execute targeted sourcing strategies using events, networks and innovative channels to attract hard-to-fill talent.
• Analyse data and pipelines to identify gaps, strengthen candidate pools and meet recruitment targets.
• Collaborate across teams, share market insights and support successful candidate enlistment.
• Maintain high standards of communication and accuracy across multiple platforms, and uphold strong client relationships.

Required profile

• Proven experience sourcing and engaging passive candidates across technical, trades and professional disciplines, using multiple platforms and innovative strategies.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end recruitment processes, ideally including high volume.
• Ability to deliver to targets and deadlines while maintaining quality and stakeholder engagement.
• Highly organised, able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible to attend networking or recruitment events outside standard hours, with occasional travel as required.
• Australian citizenship and the ability to maintain an Australian AGSVA security clearance.
