South House Teacher Assistant

About the role

Ruyton Girls' School is looking for a South House Teacher Assistant to support the South House Program, a year-long immersive experience for Year 4 students aimed at developing active learners and conscientious global citizens. The role works under the direction of the South House Coordinator and Year 4 teaching staff and spans garden, kitchen and classroom environments.

Key responsibilities

• Support the delivery of the South House Program across garden, kitchen and classroom settings.
• Work alongside the South House Coordinator and Year 4 teaching staff.
• Respond to the changing daily and weekly needs of the program.

Required profile

• Enthusiasm for experiential learning.
• Genuine interest in gardening and cooking.
• Flexibility to adapt to the day-to-day demands of the program.

The work pattern is Tuesday to Friday, 8:15am to 12:00pm. Applications are made online through the school's application form, addressed to the Principal, and close on Monday 9 November 2026; no hard copies are accepted.
