About the role

We are expanding our wine team at Cibaria Restaurant, part of Elysium Noosa Resort. Whether you are an experienced sommelier, wine waiter, or aspiring assistant head sommelier, we have a role that can be tailored to your experience.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver knowledgeable and engaging wine service on the restaurant floor.
• Provide wine recommendations and create memorable guest experiences.
• Support wine training and development for the broader restaurant team.
• Assist with cellar management, stock control and wine ordering.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the Cibaria wine list.

Required profile

• Previous restaurant or wine service experience.
• A genuine passion for wine and hospitality.
• Strong communication and guest‑engagement skills.
• Positive attitude, team mentality and ability to work in a busy, high‑quality environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Italian, Australian and international wines.
• Formal wine qualifications (e.g., WSET, CMS) are highly regarded.
