Solutions Consultant

About the role

The Solutions Consultant acts as a trusted technical advisor and strategic partner for accounting practice partners, working closely with the sales team to design custom solutions on the Xero platform. You will translate complex requirements into scalable workflows, helping firms unlock long‑term value.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and solution scoping together with Account Executives.
• Design and deliver tailored product demonstrations that address firm‑specific workflow challenges.
• Guide new practice partners through cloud implementation, workflow mapping and early adoption up‑skilling.
• Provide expert technical support during sales cycles to remove operational roadblocks.

Required profile

• Solid operational experience within an accounting or bookkeeping practice.
• Proven success in consultative problem‑solving, pre‑sales or technical solution design in complex environments.
• Strong communication skills to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and collaborate across internal and external teams.

Required skills

• Deep familiarity with Xero and other cloud‑based accounting platforms.
• Experience with cloud implementation and workflow mapping.
• Comfort using modern productivity technologies, including AI tools.
