Solution Architect - Contract (Perth)

About the role

Hastha Solutions has an urgent requirement for a Solution Architect on a 6-month contract in Perth, with possible extension. The role centres on designing and delivering end-to-end data and analytics architectures, from ingestion through to consumption.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and delivering end-to-end data and analytics architectures (ingestion, storage, processing, consumption).
• Minimum 10+ years in roles defined as a Solution Architect.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including data engineering, analytics and business stakeholders.
• Ability to evaluate and select tools, technologies and architectural patterns aligned to business needs.
• Experience contributing to architecture governance forums and presenting design decisions.
• Australian or New Zealand citizens or PR holders only.

Required skills

• Strong expertise in modern data platforms (cloud data lakes, data warehouses) and cloud ecosystems such as Snowflake and Azure.
• Design of scalable, secure, high-performance batch and real-time data pipelines and integration patterns.
• Understanding of data governance, data quality, lineage and metadata management.
• Documentation of HLDs, LLDs, data models, integration diagrams and decision logs, kept auditable and maintainable.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• TOGAF qualification (or equivalent) and familiarity with enterprise architecture standards, patterns and review processes.
• Exposure to data security, privacy and regulatory compliance; experience with data cataloguing, governance tools and metadata platforms.
