Solar Installation Supervisor

About the role

Energy Solution Centre is expanding its installation division across South East Queensland and is looking for an experienced, qualified solar and battery electrician to become Solar Installation Supervisor. You will oversee multiple installation crews, develop installers and apprentices and keep every job to a high standard of workmanship, safety and compliance. The position is full-time and permanent.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, support and develop crews of 2-5 people, including apprentices, and set expectations for productivity, workmanship and conduct
• Maintain installation standards, run quality checks against Australian Standards and ensure safe work practices and site procedures
• Complete testing, commissioning records, photographs and job documentation; act as technical escalation point and hold or obtain QTP eligibility
• Coordinate crew schedules with Operations, monitor progress and resolve delays
• Represent the company professionally on customer sites and take ownership of escalated issues

Required profile

• Qualified electrician with a current Queensland electrical licence
• Minimum 7 years of electrical experience, 2 years in solar installation and 2 years in a leadership or supervisory position
• Current solar and battery accreditations
• Current driver's licence
• Highly regarded: existing QTP eligibility, experience overseeing multiple teams, and electrical licences in NSW or other states

Required skills

• Solar and battery system installation (residential 8-20kW, light commercial 20-100kW+, Sigenergy, GoodWe, Sungrow, Tesla)
• Electrical safety, quality and compliance
• Commissioning and technical troubleshooting

• $140,000 base salary, with performance bonuses and $180,000+ OTE
