Construction Surveyor / Senior Surveyor

About the role

Bennett + Bennett, a surveying, town planning and spatial solutions firm established in 1968 on the Gold Coast, is looking for an experienced Surveyor or Senior Surveyor to join its Construction Surveying team. The role sits in the Gold Coast office and involves a mix of site presence and technical office work across high-rise and major construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver accurate and timely construction surveys that contribute to project success
• Complete fieldwork, calculations, pre-calculations, sketches and survey processing
• Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy and compliance
• Liaise with clients, project managers and internal teams
• Use advanced surveying equipment and software to improve efficiency and outcomes

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Surveyor or Senior Surveyor, with exposure to construction projects (high-rise experience highly regarded)
• A relevant qualification in Surveying
• Registration (or eligibility for registration) with the Surveyors Board of Queensland as an Associate, Graduate or above
• Strong time management and attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating, sharing knowledge and mentoring within a senior team

Required skills

• Proficiency in 12d software
• Proficiency in Leica and/or Trimble survey equipment
