Software Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our development team and help grow, maintain and enhance our IoT‑enabled software platform for mining and industrial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure and maintainable solutions across web and mobile platforms.
• Develop and optimise APIs and data‑processing layers that enable reliable communication between field devices and the platform.
• Collaborate with operations personnel, field teams and customers to translate real‑world site requirements into software solutions.
• Write clean, high‑quality, well‑documented code across the full stack, including frontend, backend and mobile applications.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing and frequent deployments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related discipline.
• Strong programming skills in C# and .NET for building reliable backend services and APIs.
• Solid experience with TypeScript and React for modern frontend development.
• Experience with relational databases, data modelling and performance optimisation; PostgreSQL preferred.
• Familiarity with cloud services, serverless computing, messaging and event‑driven processing.
• Understanding of SDLC, software architecture and system design principles.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with engineers, field personnel and operations teams.
