Software Engineer

About the role

As a Software Engineer you will develop and enhance digital products that deliver real value to customers of iSelect and Compare the Market. You will work within an Agile, collaborative team, applying modern engineering practices to build secure, scalable, high‑quality applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable software solutions using JavaScript (React), Java and Node.js.
• Participate in technical design discussions, technology selection and solution architecture, embracing DevSecOps, CI/CD and automation.
• Collaborate with product owners, project managers and solution architects to deliver business outcomes.
• Stay current with industry trends, AI‑assisted development tools and emerging technologies to improve productivity and code quality.

Required profile

• 3+ years of full‑stack software development experience.
• Experience working with AWS cloud services, serverless and event‑driven architectures.
• Familiarity with modern CI/CD pipelines, observability practices and end‑to‑end software delivery.
• Passion for leveraging AI‑assisted tools to enhance development efficiency.
