Software Engineer – C#/.NET (Brisbane)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced C#/.NET Software Engineer to join a leading global mining software vendor in Brisbane CBD. You will work on a sophisticated enterprise desktop application and help modernise it towards a browser‑based solution with ReactJS and AI‑powered features.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high‑quality C#/.NET code for a WPF desktop application.
• Build, enhance and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services hosted in Microsoft Azure.
• Participate in performance optimisation, debugging and testing of both desktop and cloud components.
• Contribute to the product’s modernisation roadmap, including migration to a ReactJS web interface.
• Produce technical documentation and support continuous‑improvement initiatives within an Agile team.

Required profile

• 5+ years of commercial C#/.NET development experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with RESTful API design and Azure services.
• Proven ability to work in an Agile environment and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Australian or New Zealand citizenship/permanent residency.
