Mid-Level DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to own and enhance our cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and smooth operation. You will work closely with development squads to automate pipelines, enable self‑service, and maintain robust observability.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, patch, and optimise multi‑environment AWS and/or GCP infrastructure to meet SLA targets.
• Manage core networking components, including routing, firewalls, VPNs and Direct Connect/Interconnect circuits.
• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Buildkite or Bamboo.
• Create reusable IaC templates with Terraform or CloudFormation for rapid micro‑service deployment.
• Provide developer enablement through documentation, runbooks and self‑service frameworks.
• Monitor observability stacks, respond to alerts, and support incident response and disaster‑recovery testing.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience in a DevOps, SysOps or CloudOps role managing AWS and/or GCP environments.
• Proven experience with containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS/GKE).
• Strong automation mindset using scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent practical experience.
