Software Developer – SaaS Platform (JavaScript, Java, AWS)

About the role

As a Software Developer you will enhance and maintain Springday’s white‑labelled SaaS platform that helps organisations improve the health and happiness of their teams. You will work in a fast‑growing corporate wellbeing space, contributing to a product used across Australia, New Zealand and Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, daily stand‑ups and peer/code reviews.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to break down, size and deliver tasks on time.
• Design, implement and test new features for the platform.
• Support and maintain existing applications, ensuring security, maintainability and extensibility.
• Apply best practices for code quality, unit testing and test‑driven development.

Required profile

• 4‑5 years of professional software development experience.
• Motivated, enthusiastic and goal‑oriented with a passion for the wellbeing industry.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Advanced client‑side development with a JavaScript framework (Angular, Vue.js, React.js, jQuery, Knockout).
• Full‑stack experience using Java or another modern programming language.
• Working knowledge of databases.
• Unit testing and test‑driven development.
• Microservices architecture.
• Containerisation (e.g., Docker).
• Version control with Git.
• Cloud development and deployment, preferably AWS.
