Software Developer – Disability & Aged Care

About the role

AlayaCare is seeking a Software Developer to join the Nightingale engineering team, focused on delivering high‑quality solutions for disability and aged‑care providers. You will work on a modernising .NET platform while collaborating closely with product and engineering colleagues to create impactful software.

Key responsibilities

• Design, code, test and debug complex full‑stack features using .NET/C# and React.
• Participate in code reviews to promote reusability, extensibility, maintainability and scalability.
• Monitor production applications, proactively identify and resolve client issues.
• Contribute to the product‑wide technical roadmap and cross‑team initiatives.
• Work with the Product team to clarify requirements and shape effective solutions.
• Plan, implement and execute end‑to‑end automated tests.
• Embed security and performance considerations into all development work.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven experience developing with .NET and C#.
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks, preferably React.
• Ability to work in an AI‑assisted engineering environment.
