About the role

Define Normal Life Style Supports is a team that empowers people with disabilities or developmental delays to gain greater functional independence and social participation, using a multidisciplinary approach. As a Social Worker in Innisfail, you will provide direct and indirect interventions to children and adolescents, working closely with families, teachers, professionals and support staff to help each participant reach their individual goals.

Key responsibilities

• Administer assessments and provide interventions that improve functional independence and social participation.
• Collaborate with the wider team to ensure the best outcomes for participants and their families.
• Offer therapy and training recommendations.
• Take part in frequent case discussions and professional learning opportunities.

Required profile

• Valid driver's licence and a reliable vehicle.
• Full and current AHPRA registration.
• Working with Children Check and National Police Check.

Required skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organisational abilities.
