Social Media Manager

About the role

Built, a privately owned construction company operating across Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom, is looking for a Social Media Manager in Sydney. You will own and evolve its social media presence across key platforms, explore emerging channels and content formats, and work alongside the Brand and Marketing teams to bring the company's projects, people and culture to life online.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the execution of Built's social media strategy across all key channels
• Increase the frequency, quality and effectiveness of content across the business
• Partner with the Marketing team and project and business leaders to uncover stories that strengthen the brand and reputation
• Drive audience growth, engagement and share of voice through creative, relevant and timely content, tracked with measurable data
• Explore emerging platforms such as podcasting and long-form video
• Capture content on project sites, present strategic recommendations, analyse performance data and coach leaders on social engagement

Required profile

• Experience managing and growing social media channels in a corporate, agency or brand environment
• A proven track record of creating engaging content that drives audience growth, engagement and brand awareness
• Proactive and agile approach, able to spot opportunities and respond quickly

Required skills

• Filming, photography and video editing, and experience briefing external production professionals
• Storytelling, copywriting and stakeholder engagement
