Social Media & Content Specialist

About the role

Portier, an Australian lifestyle brand focused on premium parenting products, is seeking a Social Media & Content Specialist to own its organic social channels and create engaging, platform‑native content. Reporting to the Founder and Head of Marketing, you will shape the brand’s visual storytelling and help drive community growth.

Key responsibilities

• Own organic social channels across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook and LinkedIn.
• Develop and manage a social content calendar aligned with launches, campaigns and brand priorities.
• Concept, style, shoot, edit and publish premium social‑first content.
• Create both polished campaign assets and authentic lo‑fi content that drives engagement.
• Stay ahead of trends and translate them into on‑brand, engaging content.
• Build and manage relationships with creators through gifting and paid partnerships.
• Engage with the community and foster meaningful conversations.
• Monitor performance, extract insights and continuously optimise the content strategy.

Required profile

• Passionate about social media, constantly consuming content and spotting trends.
• Creator‑first mindset, comfortable behind the camera and in editing.
• Desire to make an immediate impact while building leadership skills.
• Proactive, organised, self‑motivated and ready to take ownership.

Required skills

• 3+ years experience in social media and content creation for premium lifestyle or consumer brands.
• Portfolio showcasing concepted, filmed and edited content.
• Strong editing skills using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro or similar tools.
• Ability to produce platform‑native content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Pinterest, etc.
• Experience working with creators and influencers.
