Snowflake Solution Designer (Contract)

About the role

Hastha Solutions has an urgent requirement for a Snowflake Solution Designer on a 6-month contract in Sydney, with possible extension. The role covers designing, building and maintaining Snowflake data warehouse solutions, ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration, and is open only to Australian or NZ citizens and PR holders.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain Snowflake data warehouse solutions and develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for batch, near real-time and streaming data.
• Integrate structured and unstructured data from internal and external sources and implement data modelling for analytical and operational reporting.
• Develop Snowflake objects including databases, schemas, tables and views, Snowpipe, streams and tasks, dynamic tables, stored procedures and UDFs, and use Snowpark and Cortex.
• Monitor and optimise Snowflake performance, storage and compute usage, and build lakehouse and data lake architectures.
• Build pipelines with tools such as Informatica, dbt, Kafka or cloud-native integrations, and automate ingestion, transformation, validation and reconciliation.
• Support CI/CD deployment, infrastructure automation and compliance with security, privacy and records management standards, including data classification, masking, auditing and access control.
• Work with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure Data Lake Storage, and use Python and advanced SQL.

Required profile

• Australian or NZ citizen or PR holder only.
• Strong experience with Snowflake Data Cloud.
• Data warehousing and dimensional modelling, and ETL/ELT development and orchestration.
