Desktop Support Engineer (Managed Services L1)

About the role

Brennan is looking for a Desktop Support Engineer (Managed Services Consultant L1) in Sydney. You will provide onsite and remote first-level support to a Managed Services client, working at least 85% of the time on site and travelling across the Sydney Metro region. The role suits someone who has their own licence and car and enjoys talking to customers face to face.

Key responsibilities

• Provide L1 support for service delivery teams and resolve technical issues, both remotely and onsite at client locations.
• Proactively manage the client's IT environments and conduct problem management to find root causes.
• Maintain and administer desktops (Windows OS), the Microsoft Office suite, basic printing and Windows server support, plus end-user support and liaison with third-party vendors.
• Own your assigned clients and maintain effective communication with them.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of IT experience.
• Reasonable experience with common business applications, especially the Microsoft Office suite, including Office365.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proven ability to work within and across teams.
• Own licence and car; flexibility to travel across the Sydney Metro region.
