SMSF Accountant – Superannuation Specialist

About the role

William Buck’s Superannuation team is looking for an SMSF Accountant with 2–3 years of experience. This full‑time position offers hands‑on exposure to SMSF compliance, reporting and administration while building strong technical capability and client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare SMSF financial statements and income tax returns.
• Prepare pension commencement documents and calculate member balances.
• Administer pensions and manage rollover statements and transfer‑balance reports.
• Assist with SMSF wind‑ups and liaise with SMSF auditors.
• Proactively communicate with clients via phone and email.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years demonstrated experience in accounting or superannuation.
• Passionate about helping clients and solving problems.
• Exceptional attention to detail and high‑quality work output.
• Professional, enthusiastic and conscientious attitude.
• Team player with strong internal and external relationship skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
