Small Animal Veterinarian – Full‑time

About the role

Join two busy small‑animal clinics on the Central Queensland coast and help shape a brand‑new purpose‑built hospital in Gladstone. The role is full‑time (38 hours/week) with a weekly roster day off and a shared after‑hours roster backed by Vetriage.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 100 % small‑animal consultations, work‑ups, medical management and surgery.
• Utilise multiple consult rooms, ultrasound, digital X‑ray, surgery suites and in‑house IDEXX labs.
• Collaborate with hands‑on nurses and participate in a supportive, collaborative team culture.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years experience in small‑animal practice.
• Confident clinical and communication skills with a positive, team‑first attitude.
• Curiosity and willingness to embrace the variety of regional practice.

What we offer

• Salary package $100,000–$140,000 (AUD) plus $10,000–$15,000 after‑hours earnings and a $10,000 sign‑on bonus.
