Skilled Labourer – Construction (Fixed‑Term)

About the role

Palm Lake Group is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Labourer to join its construction team at the new Forster Aged Care development. This full‑time fixed‑term role (2 years) involves supporting tradespeople and site supervisors to deliver high‑quality lifestyle homes and community facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist tradespeople and supervisors with general construction duties.
• Perform site clean‑up, material handling, loading and unloading of building supplies.
• Operate basic tools and equipment under supervision.
• Maintain a clean, organised and hazard‑free worksite.
• Follow safety procedures and promptly report any hazards or incidents.
• Support construction and display home preparation as required.

Required profile

• Possession of a valid White Card (Construction Induction).
• Current driver’s licence with reliable transport.
• Licensed and experienced in operating a telehandler or Manitou.
• Strong work ethic, teamwork orientation and commitment to quality.
