Site Supervisor

About the role

Hirecon is seeking experienced Site Supervisors to lead construction projects for its clients in Brisbane. The role involves overseeing daily site operations, coordinating trades and subcontractors, and ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and schedule on‑site work activities.
• Monitor progress against project timelines and adjust plans as needed.
• Conduct regular site inspections to enforce safety, compliance and quality standards.
• Coordinate trades, subcontractors and material deliveries.
• Communicate with project managers, clients and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate site documentation, reports and records.
• Lead on‑site teams, promote a positive work culture and ensure adherence to client policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising construction sites, preferably in Brisbane or Queensland.
• Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety, building codes and site compliance.
• Effective communication, leadership and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
• Problem‑solving mindset with the ability to make decisions under changing conditions.
• Relevant trade qualification or a diploma in construction management (preferred).
• Commitment to professional, respectful and inclusive conduct.
