Site Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to lead day‑to‑day construction activities on residential projects. You will coordinate trades, ensure quality and safety standards, and keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage subcontractors according to the construction programme, scheduling trades in the correct sequence.
• Allocate tasks and supervise internal trades to meet specifications and programme milestones.
• Complete Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and verify compliance with design and manufacturer requirements.
• Work closely with the Project Manager to track site progress and achieve programme targets.
• Assist with subcontractor management to control costs while maintaining productivity and quality.
• Monitor defects, coordinate rectifications, and conduct daily site inspections.
• Drive project momentum to ensure deadlines are consistently met.
• Maintain a safe, organised, and productive site environment.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of experience as a Site Supervisor in residential construction.
• Strong leadership and people‑management abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for building relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
• Proactive problem‑solving and confident decision‑making.
• Organisational capability to manage multiple trades and competing priorities.
• Solid understanding of construction programmes, quality assurance, and defect management.
• Commitment to delivering projects safely, on time, and to high standards.
