Site Supervisor for $80M Hotel Development

About the role

Join a nationally recognised commercial builder on a landmark $80M hotel project in Launceston. You will work alongside an experienced Project Manager and Site Manager, overseeing daily construction activities and ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate day‑to‑day site activities across allocated work fronts.
• Manage subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to programme.
• Monitor quality outcomes and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Assist with short‑term programming and look‑ahead planning.
• Conduct site inspections and coordinate defect rectification.
• Ensure all works meet OH&S requirements.
• Coordinate deliveries, site logistics and access requirements.
• Maintain detailed site records, daily diaries and progress reports.
• Collaborate with the Site Manager, Project Manager and consultants to resolve construction issues.
• Drive productivity and uphold high standards of workmanship across all trades.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Site Supervisor, Foreman or Leading Hand on commercial construction projects.
• Experience delivering hospitality, hotel, apartment, health, education or large‑scale commercial projects.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction methodologies and sequencing.
• Ability to coordinate multiple trades and manage programme outcomes.
• Sound knowledge of Australian construction standards and safety legislation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• First Aid certification.
• White Card (construction induction) and relevant site certifications.
• Knowledge of Australian construction standards and OH&S legislation.
