Site SHE Business Partner

About the role

Goodman Fielder is looking for an experienced Site SHE Business Partner to take ownership of Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) across its Erskine Park and Camellia manufacturing sites. Reporting to the Site Operations Manager, the role sits within the leadership team and shapes strategy, builds capability and drives improvements across two manufacturing sites.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the go-to HSE expert for site leaders and frontline teams
• Partner with the Site Leadership Team to embed a proactive, self-sustaining SHE culture
• Implement and continuously improve the GF Safety & Environmental Management Systems (SMS/EMS)
• Support people through coaching, training and capability uplift
• Drive site compliance, emergency preparedness and audit readiness
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis and corrective action follow-up
• Deliver reporting, insights and analysis to support decision making
• Own site HSE planning, from training needs analysis to environmental performance improvements
• Support injury management and workers compensation processes with CARE teams
• Represent the site in national HSE forums and projects

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in OHS, Health Science or a related discipline (or working towards)
• Minimum 5 years' SHE experience, ideally in FMCG or complex manufacturing
• Knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and Workers Compensation frameworks
• Experience implementing safety systems and driving compliance outcomes
• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment desirable
