Site Manager - Projects

About the role

Burbank is hiring a Site Manager - Projects for its Project Construction team. Reporting to the Construction Manager, the role oversees the end-to-end construction of medium-density and multi-residential developments across several sites, coordinating trades, suppliers and stakeholders so that projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to Burbank's quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise construction of medium-density and multi-residential projects from start to finish
• Ensure contractors and site personnel comply with safety legislation and company requirements
• Review construction documentation before site commencement and interpret building plans, regulations and codes
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, trades and deliveries to keep schedules on track
• Carry out mandatory inspections and quality assurance checks at key stages
• Monitor budgets, Extra to Schedule (ETS) expenditure and Extensions of Time (EOT) to hit commercial targets
• Maintain project information in ClickHome and other systems, and keep stakeholders informed
• Manage customer expectations and support safety, housekeeping, compliance audits and public safety
• Process approvals, purchase orders, forecasting and project reports, and build strong relationships with customers, contractors and suppliers

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Site Manager, Supervisor or similar in residential building
• Experience managing medium-density, townhouse, multi-residential or project home construction (highly regarded)
• Knowledge of residential construction practices, building codes and regulations
• Ability to manage multiple projects, trades and stakeholders at once
• Attention to detail, problem-solving and organisational skills
• Customer-focused, able to work in a fast-paced environment

Required skills

• Construction scheduling, quality assurance, safety and budget management
• Confidence using construction management systems such as ClickHome
