Site Manager / Foreman

About the role

As a Construction Supervisor based in the ACT, you will lead field‑based teams and contractors to deliver electricity infrastructure projects safely, on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise construction crews and subcontractors, coordinating daily field activities and allocating resources.
• Monitor site safety performance, conduct pre‑starts, toolbox talks and safety inspections to ensure WHS compliance.
• Manage construction quality, ensuring works meet project specifications and liaise with clients, authorities and suppliers.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, resolve site issues promptly and support project planning and reporting.
• Promote a collaborative team culture, mentoring and developing field personnel.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising construction activities within utilities, infrastructure or energy sectors.
• Strong commitment to safety leadership and WHS legislation.
• Effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to manage subcontractors, suppliers and project resources in a fast‑paced environment.
• Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, Trade or related discipline, plus a current White Card and valid Australian driver licence.
