Site Manager – Fitout & Refurbishment

About the role

Take ownership of day‑to‑day site operations for commercial fit‑out and refurbishment projects, working closely with the Project Manager and delivery team to ensure safe, efficient, high‑quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily delivery of commercial fit‑out and refurbishment projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, site personnel and deliveries.
• Drive construction programmes and achieve project milestones.
• Maintain high standards of site safety, quality control and housekeeping.
• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and regular safety inspections.
• Monitor workmanship to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, project managers and building management teams.
• Identify and resolve on‑site issues proactively to minimise delays.
• Manage defects, inspections, handovers and project close‑out activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering commercial fit‑out and refurbishment projects.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, subcontractor coordination and site logistics.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proactive approach to safety, quality and programme management.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem‑solving abilities.
• Relevant construction qualifications, licences and current safety certifications.
