Site Manager – Construction Project Lead

About the role

The Site Manager will oversee all on‑site activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required specifications. This role combines hands‑on site leadership with coordination of staff, subcontractors and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for accurate daily measuring and monitoring of structural elements.
• Plan and establish site occupation, developing formal occupation plans.
• Ensure all work complies with codes, standards and specifications, implementing appropriate procedures.
• Direct, encourage and mentor on‑site staff, communicating variations, disputes and contractual matters to the Project Manager and Contract Administrator.
• Maintain effective communication with subcontractors, understanding trade scopes and ensuring supplied items meet requirements.

Required profile

• Solid experience in a similar construction role.
• Strong initiative, prioritisation, attention to detail and a positive, problem‑solving attitude.
• Ability to inspire team members to deliver quality outcomes.
