Site Manager – Commercial Fit‑Out & New Build

About the role

Lead premium commercial fit‑out and new‑build projects valued between $10M‑$30M for a nationally respected contractor. You will manage day‑to‑day site operations, ensuring safety, quality and programme momentum from commencement through handover.

Key responsibilities

• Lead site delivery across commercial fit‑out and new‑build projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades, suppliers and site resources.
• Manage construction sequencing, programmes and key milestones.
• Maintain high standards of WHS, quality assurance and compliance.
• Monitor progress, resolve issues and oversee inspections, defect rectification and final handover.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing commercial construction projects from start to finish.
• Experience delivering projects valued between $10M‑$40M in fit‑out, new‑build or both.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with project stakeholders.
• Practical, solutions‑focused approach to construction challenges.

Required skills

• Carpentry or similar trade background.
• Construction programming and sequencing expertise.
