Shipping Officer - Export Shipping & Documentation

About the role

JBS Northern Ops is seeking a full-time Shipping Officer to join its Shipping & Docs team at the Northern Ops head office in Riverview (Ipswich), Queensland. You will work alongside a team of ten experienced shipping professionals in a fast-paced but supportive export environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate export activities from production through to order fulfilment, booking and loadout for designated markets
• Review inventory and production levels to ensure timely processing of shipping orders, allocations and instructions
• Maintain accurate export order information in the ERP system to support efficient, on-time fulfilment
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including Sales, Production, Documentation, loadout sites, shipping lines and transport carriers
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customer requirements, and provide quality support to internal and external customers

Required profile

• Previous experience in an export documentation or shipping logistics role highly regarded
• Exceptional customer service skills and ability to work under pressure
• High levels of accuracy in a fast-paced environment, excellent time management and multitasking
• Demonstrated administrative, logistics and data entry skills
• Intermediate MS Office skills
• Ability to work autonomously and in a close-knit team, with initiative and confidentiality

The position is onsite and full-time; remote or hybrid arrangements are not available.
