Shift Leader

About the role

El Jannah is seeking confident, motivated individuals to take charge of restaurant shifts as Shift Leaders. You will be the steady presence on the floor, guiding the team, ensuring smooth operations, and delivering a consistently positive guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the team following the "EJ Way" and maintain high service standards.
• Keep daily operations running efficiently, from opening to closing.
• Coach and train team members to build confidence and capability.
• Deliver guest‑focused experiences that align with brand expectations.
• Support rostering, shift organisation and performance against KPIs.
• Uphold food safety, cleanliness and WHS standards.
• Manage stock levels to ensure uninterrupted kitchen and service flow.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading teams in a quick‑service or fast‑paced hospitality environment.
• Calm, confident leadership style that inspires and energises staff.
• Strong communication skills with a team‑first mindset.
• Passion for food, people and delivering great guest experiences.
• Reliable, organised and able to lead by example.
• Flexible availability for evenings and weekends.
