ServiceNow Developer – 6‑month contract in Melbourne

About the role

This is a 6‑month contract position based in Melbourne, working within a structured enterprise technology environment. The ServiceNow Developer will design, build, and enhance ServiceNow capabilities that directly support business operations and automation outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build custom ServiceNow forms, workflows, business rules, and UI policies.
• Develop and automate business processes using Flow Designer and scripting.
• Integrate ServiceNow with third‑party systems via APIs and web services.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Deliver configuration and development across ITSM and Virtual Agent modules.
• Plan and execute unit, regression, and User Acceptance Testing.
• Support production deployments and manage post‑release defect resolution.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and continuously improve user experience.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer in enterprise environments.
• Hands‑on experience with ITSM and Virtual Agent modules.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow scripting, workflows, and integrations.
• Experience across testing, deployment, and support of ServiceNow releases.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
